About

A new institution for a creative continent.

The Entertainment Law Hub Academy (ELH) is a professional learning and ecosystem platform sitting at the intersection of entertainment law and Africa's creative economy.

We were built for a specific moment: African music, film, fashion, and digital media are reshaping global culture, yet the legal and commercial infrastructure that protects and grows that work remains thin, fragmented, and unevenly accessible.

01 · The problem

A gap in specialisation.

African creatives operate in markets that demand specialist legal advice — yet entertainment law as a discipline is under-taught, under-resourced, and unevenly distributed. Lawyers learn on the job. Creatives sign what they don't understand.

02 · The solution

Two pathways, one ecosystem.

ELH Academy organises legal education into two clear professional tracks — Lawyers and Creative Professionals — and connects them through working resources, convenings, and a legal access network.

03 · The aim

A self-sustaining field.

We want a continent where every creative has a lawyer they trust, every entertainment lawyer has a community to grow in, and the rules of the field are written by the people who live inside it.

Mission

To equip the architects of Africa's creative economy with elite legal specialization and rights education.

Vision

A continent whose creative economy is built on legal literacy, specialist counsel, and shared knowledge.

Founder
ELH

A practitioner-built institution.

ELH was founded by entertainment lawyers and creative-industry operators working across African jurisdictions. The Academy is built from inside the field — by people who have negotiated the contracts, run the clinics, and felt the gaps personally.

We are deliberately institutional in our standards and warm in our culture. Both matter.

Build the field with us.
